The image on this decorative plate is based on Ice Entertainment, a painting by Hendrick Avercamp (Amsterdam January 1585 — Kampen, May 1634). Avercamp was a Dutch painter who mainly painted winter skating scenes. Ice entertainment can be seen in the Mauritshuis and on your new collector plate.
